CUSTOMER TERMS OF SERVICE

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
STANDISH SITES is a website design and hosting service. The service is provided through our network of administrators. .

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
STANDISH SITES is not responsible for any loss of income or other adverse consequences resulting from use of its services, as defined in DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE above.

ABSENCE OF WARRANTY
There is no warranty, expressed or implied. All payments for paid support incidents are not refundable. Prepayment for regular monthly hosting are refundable if services are to be terminated (see TERMINATION OF SERVICE).

LIMITATION OF SERVICE
The service is intended for relatively small websites. It is not appropriate for large websites (more than 30 pages), or sites that are expected to add pages indefinitely, such as blogs or news sites.

Regarding web traffic, it is highly unlikely that any customer website would ever stress our server capacity. However, if excess resource use (in our sole estimation) should occur, we reserve the right to either (1) charge a hosting fee higher than the base price, or (2) terminate the service. We promise that we would do everything possible to continue to provide the service at an affordable price.

TERMINATION OF SERVICE
Either party (we or the customer) may decide to terminate the service at any time and for any reason. However, STANDISH SITES would normally only terminate a service due to violation of the PROHIBITED CONTENT rules, excess resource use that cannot be otherwise resolved, of lack of payment (see the following section). Upon service termination, any prepayment balance will be refunded to the customer, except any free initial account balance.

SERVICE SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF SERVICE DUE TO NON-PAYMENT
If the user's account balance goes to zero, any domains will be taken offline. If the balance remains at zero for 14 days, the account will be considered closed. After this time, there may be a reactivation fee. Two months (60 days) after account deactivation, all account data will be permanentely deleted.

LENIANCY RELATED TO ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
If you are unable to pay due to financial hardship and need more time, contact your administrator before your account balance goes to zero.

PROHIBITED CONTENT
We believe no Internet content should be censored. However, we must prohibit content which is illegal under United States law, or if there is a United States court order to remove the material.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users may not, of course, engage in any of the following activities:

1. Hacking or otherwise interferring with the normal operation of the STANDISH SITES service
2. Any attempt to access another user's files or interfere with another user's website
3. Use of your STANDISH SITES site to send spam, spyware, malware, or viruses.

DISPUTES
If a user believes he has been treated unfairly or inappropriately by his administrator, he may initiate a dispute by emailing the STANDISH SITES owner at lloyd@standishco.com.
